The Sundance Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals affected by domestic violence through its signature PAY & PLACE Program, a comprehensive initiative designed to address the two most critical needs after crisis: safe housing (PLACE) and financial empowerment (PAY). Founded on the belief that every individual deserves safety, dignity, and a future free from fear, the PAY & PLACE Program provides emergency shelter support, rental and utility assistance, job readiness training, income-building opportunities, financial literacy, and access to essential community resources—creating a direct pathway from instability to independence.
Our mission is to provide housing stabilization, financial assistance, advocacy, and community partnerships that help individuals and families impacted by domestic violence move from crisis to long-term self-sufficiency.
We envision communities where survivors are never forced to choose between safety and stability — where immediate protection is paired with long-term resources and systemic support to rebuild independent, thriving lives.
At the Sundance Foundation, the PAY & PLACE Program serves as the foundation of our work—ensuring survivors have both a secure place to live and the financial tools to thrive. By combining housing support with employment pathways, emergency funding, mentorship, and long-term stabilization services, we break cycles of abuse and dependency while restoring confidence, opportunity, and self-worth. With compassion, integrity, and action, we stand beside every woman and individual ready to reclaim their life.
Together, we create hope. Together, we build new beginnings.
